FARMACY | Honey Potion Renewing Antioxidant Hydration Mask

New year, new mask! This year, I finally decided to give the Farmacy Honey Potion Renewing Antioxidant Hydration Mask a try and today I'm here to share my initial thoughts on this product.

Farmacy Honey Potion Renewing Antioxidant Hydration Mask is a hydrating warming face mask that is ideal for all skin types and for those who's skin concerns consist of dryness, dullness, uneven texture, loss of firmness and loss of elasticity. Made with ingredients like the proprietary honey blend, glycerin, and essential B vitamins; this mask promises to renew, smooth as well as hydrate the skin leaving it looking and feeling soft.

The packaging of the Honey Potion Mask is simple yet unique at the same time. It's a clear hexagonal glass jar with a screw-on lid. At the top of the lid, you'll find a magnetic spatula which can be used to apply and spread the product onto the skin. The mask itself is just as unique as the packaging it's housed in. It starts out having thick and sticky texture but turned creamy as you massage it onto the skin. Just like the texture, the color of the mask changes as well. It starts out golden, just like honey, but as it starts warming up it turns white. As for the scent, although it looks like honey it doesn't actually smell like it. In fact, it doesn't smell like much at all.

The application process of this mask is fairly simple. Apply a thick layer onto clean skin using the handy-dandy spatula that comes complimentary with the mask. Once applied, massage it in for a minute or two to activate the warming effect and leave on for about 15 minutes. Rinse off with luke-warm water to reveal a smooth complexion.

I originally wanted to give this mask a try because of all the hype it received and is still receiving on social media but ended up being surprised by how well it actually performs. With just the first use, I noticed a big difference in not just the way my skin looked but also felt. It was smoother and overall just simply looked alive and well hydrated. Considering that I haven't had more than 2 hours of sleep ever since I brought my beautiful baby girl home I didn't think that it would be possible to make my skin look like I've been eating, sleeping and breathing healthy lifestyle all my life but I was wrong. I am not even hating on the subtle glow the mask leaves behind with each use, although it's nothing compared to my pregnancy glow. I also absolutely love the simplistic and unique design of the packaging, especially the magnetic spatula, but I am a bit disappointed that it doesn't have even the slightest scent of honey.
