THE ORDINARY | AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution

Happy Wednesday, beauty lovers! A few weeks ago I finally decided to try The Ordinary AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution and today I am here to share my thoughts on this product. Let's just right into the review!

The Ordinary AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution ($7.20 for 1 oz) is a 10-minute exfoliating solution that is ideal for those with oily, combination or normal skin and for those who's skin concerns consist of blemishes, fine lines, wrinkles, dullness, and uneven texture. Made with ingredients like the Glycolic Acid, Lactic Acid, and Salicylic Acid; this solution promises to help fight blemishes while also improving the look of skin texture.
AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution is housed in a clear glass bottle with a dropper. The solution itself is dark red in color, has a thick as well as slightly sticky consistency and lightweight texture. This peeling solution does have a light acidic scent but it's very tolerable.

I like to use this solution once a week, usually in the evening or at night as it contains a high concentration of acid making your skin more prone to sun damage. After thoroughly cleaning my face, I apply a thin layer of the peeling solution to dry skin, leave it on for 10 whole minutes and then rinse it off with luke-warm water. I did feel some stinging sensation while using this product, which is completely normal since it does contain acid. If you feel anything other than just a slight tingle then I recommend cutting down how often you use the product and for how long. If that doesn't help, then stop using the product altogether. Other than the slight stinging, luckily, I didn't experience any other issues.

I've been using the AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution for a little bit over two months now and I honestly wasn't expecting this product to perform as well as it did. With just the first use, I noticed that my skin looked brighter and felt smoother. In addition, much to my delight, I noticed that my pores appeared significantly smaller and that my face wasn't getting as shiny as it usually does throughout the day. The best $7.50 that I've ever spent!
