SUNDAY RILEY | A+ High-Dose Retinol Serum

Happy Thursday, beauty lovers! Today, I wanted to take a moment and share my initial thoughts as well as personal experience with the SUNDAY RILEY A+ High-Dose Retinol Serum.

SUNDAY RILEY A+ High-Dose Retinol Serum is a highly concentrated face serum that is infused with retinol. This product is ideal for all skin types and for those who's skin concerns consist of fine lines, wrinkles, dark spots, dullness, or uneven texture. Made with ingredients like the Retinol Ester, CoQ10 and Hawaiian White Honey; this serum promises to reduce the appearance of aging and damaged skin leaving you with radiant and more toned complexion. A+ High-Dose Retinol Serum comes housed in a frosted push pump bottle. The serum itself has a fairly thin almost runny consistency (light yellow in color), fragrance-free formula, and a lightweight texture that spread easily and absorbs quickly into the skin. 

Since I am not new to the whole retinol thing, I like to use this serum every night as part of my nighttime skincare routine. I apply a pump or two to clean, dry skin and follow with a hydrating moisturizer.

I haven't used this product long enough to notice any major changes but I did notice some. Within a few days of using this product, I noticed that my skin looked clearer, smoother and more radiant. I've also noticed that I haven' been breaking out as much. When I do breakout, I only get a small bump or two and they usually disappear on their own within two days or less. The best part about using this serum is that I didn't experience any peeling, redness or irritation even though I use it on daily basis, so I can comfortably recommend this serum to those who tend to stay away from retinol-based products due to their side effect.  At this time, I can't vouch for the anti-aging aspect of this serum, as I don't currently have any wrinkles on my face, but I can vouch for everything else that it promises to correct.
