ERNO LASZLO | White Marble Dual Phase Vitamin C Peel

Happy #TextureTueday, beauty lovers! I was fortunate enough to receive some skincare goodies from Erno Laszlo and, after a few weeks of testing, I am excited to finally share my thoughts on these products. Today we'll be taking a close look at the White Marble Dual Phase Vitamin C Peel. Enjoy!

Step 1: Peel

Step 2: Activator

ERNO LASZLO White Marble Dual Phase Vitamin C Peel is a two-step peel that is powered by Vitamin C. It is ideal for all skin types and for those who's skin concerns consist of dryness, dark spots, dullness, or uneven texture. Made with ingredients like Vitamin C, Carrot Seed Oil, and Lactic Acid; this peel promises to reduce the appearance of damaged skin and dullness as well as balance dry skin.

White Marble Dual Phase Vitamin C Peel comes housed in simple and sleek packaging. The peel is housed in a square plastic jar while the activator is housed in a round bottle with a dropper. The peel itself has a very pleasant citrusy scent, thick consistency (orange in color) that melts right onto the skin and a granules texture. The activator, on the other hand, has more of a runny consistency (clear in color) and a lightweight formula. As for the scent, I don't know the best way to describe it but its not at all pleasant. Lucky, the scent is light enough and tolerable enough to be able to get through both steps.

I use this peel once a week, usually on one of my mask days. I start by properly cleansing my skin to remove all the makeup and dirt. After drying my face, I apply a generous amount of Step 1: Peel over the entire face and gently massage it on for anywhere between one to three minutes.  Afterward, I mix a few drops of Step 2: Activator in my hands and then massage it onto my skin along with the remains of the peel for a good minute. Quick note, when you combine both steps on your face it will create a warm sensation. Don't freak out as this is completely normal. After a minute of messaging both steps, I gently rinse off the product off my face with luke-warm water and move onto the next step of my skincare routine.

I enjoyed and still enjoy using White Marble Dual Phase Vitamin C Peel because it actually performs as it claims to. It gently removes all the unwanted gunk out of the pores and dry skin off my face leaving me with baby soft skin and bright complexion. Regrettably, at this time, I can't vouch as to whether or not this peel can actually reduce the appearance of damaged skin (dark spots, age spots or sun damage) as I currently don't have any of these problems.
