URBAN DECAY | NAKED Cherry Eyeshadow Palette

Happy December, beauty lovers! I can't believe this year is almost over, it feels like just yesterday I was saying goodbye to 2017 and hello to 2018. Anyways, today I'll be reviewing the new addition to the Urban Decay's NAKED family, NAKED Cherry Eyeshadow Palette.

Hot Spot / Caution / Bang Bang / Feelz / Juicy / Turn On / Ambitious / Bing / Devilish / Young Love / Drunk Dial / Privacy

Urban Decay NAKED Cherry Eyeshadow Palette is housed in a reddish plum compact featuring cherry print on the lid. Inside the compact, you'll find a full-length mirror on one side and 12 all-new eyeshadow shades, as well as a dual-ended brush, on the other. Out of the 12 shades featured in this palette, seven have a matte finish (Hot Spot, Caution, Feelz, Juicy, Bing, Devilish, and Privacy) and the rest have more of a shimmer/metallic finish (Bang Bang, Turn On, Ambitious, Drunk Dial, and Young Love).

The shades in this palette have a velvety soft texture and an overall easy to work with formula. As far as the pigmentation goes, I found that some shades had a better color payoff than the others. The shades that I personally had a bit of difficulty getting a good color payoff from was the Feelz, Juicy, Devilish, and Privacy. In terms of longevity, the shades had no problem staying on for eight hours, with and without a primer, without showing any signs of creasing or fading.

I am a big fan of Urban Decay's eyeshadow palettes, but I got to be honest, I was not that impressed with this one. I absolutely love the packaging and the color options offered in the NAKED Cherry Eyeshadow Palette but I was a bit disappointed in the quality of the eyeshadow shades.
