SMASHBOX + VLADA | Cover Shot: Petal Metal Eye Shadow Palette

Happy Monday, beauty lovers! A couple of days ago I picked me up some makeup products from the Smashbox + Vlada collection. The first product that picked my interest from this collection was the Cover Shot: Petal Metal Eye Shadow Palette, so today we'll be taking a close look at this gorgeous palette.

Smashbox + Vlada Cover Shot: Petal Metal Eye Shadow Palette is housed in a rose gold compact case featuring Vlada's signature lip art. Inside the case, you'll find a full-length mirror on one side and eight gorgeous eyeshadow shades in two different finishes on the other: matte (Nude Rose and Coffee Blossom) and metallic (Fresh Stem, Opal Rose, Rose Quartz, Floral Support, Rose Rocked, and XO Vlada).

All the shades in this palette have an overall very soft and creamy texture. They each apply with absolute easy and blend like a dream with minor fallouts. One stroke is more than enough to get a great color payoff as they are all amazingly pigmented. They each look and wear great with or without an eyeshadow primer and last for at least eight hours with no fading or creasing.

Cover Shot: Petal Metal Eye Shadow Palette contains a nice little variety of eyeshadow shades that can be worn both day and night. It's perfectly compact making it a travel-friendly palette. I do wish that it had another matte shade, but besides that, it is a very lovely palette. If you are a fan of rose gold eyeshadow shades than this palette is a must!
