Hello beauty lovers! A couple of weeks ago I posted a review on the BOSCIA Luminizing Pink Charcoal Mask, which you can read all about HERE. Well, I recently got an opportunity to test out the original charcoal mask the Luminizing Black Charcoal Mask, complimentary of Influenster, and today I am here with a full review.
BOSCIA Luminizing Black Charcoal Mask is a best selling mineral-rich peel-off charcoal mask. Containing detoxifying ingredients like activated charcoal and other minerals helps to not only remove dead skin from your face but to also brighten the skin and shrink pores. Luminizing Black Charcoal Mask is housed in a black squeeze bottle, making dispensing the product easy. The mask itself has a very thick and sticky texture, but it is still very easy to apply and to work with. Just like with the Luminizing Pink Charcoal Mask, I also prefer to apply this one with a makeup brush. It really does make the application process a lot quicker, easier and cleaner. The application process itself is very simple. Apply a thick even layer of the mask onto dry skin, let it dry (usually takes about 25 to 30 minutes), and gently peel it off to reveal brighter and healthier looking skin.
I am absolutely in love with the Luminizing Black Charcoal Mask! Not only does it delivered some impressive results but it is also super fun to use. Because this mask doubles as an eyeshadow shield, I like to apply it right before I start doing my eyes and eyebrows to ensure that no fallouts get on my face. I typically only use this mask once a week but will use it more often if my skin craves it. The only difference I noticed between the two masks is the consistency in the formula. I felt like the pink mask had a slightly runnier consistency than that of the black mask. Besides this and, of course, the color everything else was the same to me.
