MAYBELLINE | Fit Me Dewy + Smooth Foundation

Hello, beauty lovers! I recently got an opportunity to try out the new Maybelline Fit Me Dewy + Smooth Foundation, courtesy of Influenster, and today I am here with a review to tell you all about it. Enjoy!

Maybelline Fit Me Dewy + Smooth Foundation is a dewy foundation with SPF 18 that is designed to hydrate the skin leaving it looking smooth and luminous. It comes in a simple clear glass bottle. It does not have any sort of pump like some foundations that I currently use, therefore, it makes the application process a little bit more difficult. The foundation itself has a fairly thin consistency making it really easy to work with. It has a light to medium buildable coverage with a dewy finish. This foundation is recommended for normal to dry skin and I completely agree because I have combination to oily skin and I found this foundation to be a little greasy looking on me. As far as longevity goes, unfortunately, it does not last as long as most foundations that I am used to. I typically don't have to do any touch-ups throughout the day, but when wearing this foundation I found myself touching up my face every few hours in order to keep it from breaking down.

It's been a while since I last used a drugstore foundation, so this was definitely a very interesting experience. I received the Fit Me Dewy + Smooth Foundation, for testing purposes from Influenster, in shade 110 Porcelain which matches my skin tone perfectly. I absolutely love how light and natural it looks and feels on my skin. Since sun protection is very important to me, especially more so since I moved down to Florida, this foundation gets two thumbs up for having SPF 18 in the formula. Because this foundation doesn't really have a long-lasting formula I like to wear it on days when I have to run some quick errands or I am planning on only being out for a little while. On days when I know that I am going to have a long day ahead, or if I am going to be outside most of the day, I usually reach for something with a more long-lasting formula.
